Terms of Service

The straightforward rules for booking a mobile detail with us: how confirmations work, what we need for access, how pricing and promo codes work, and who's responsible for what.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Accepting these terms

These terms cover everything on focusdetailingllc.com and every detail performed by Focus Detailing LLC. By submitting a booking request, calling or texting us, or having your vehicle serviced, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't book. You must be 18 or older, or the authorized owner of the vehicle, to book a service.

Bookings are requests, not confirmations

Sending the booking form puts a hold on the time you picked and tells us what you'd like done. It is not a confirmed appointment on its own. Bryan personally reviews every request and gets in touch within 24 hours to confirm the date, time, price and anything else we need.

Your appointment is confirmed once we've spoken or emailed you back. Until then, the slot may be offered to someone else.

Scheduling and service times

The times you see on the calendar are open at the moment you look. Availability changes as jobs fill up, and we occasionally block dates for school, work or weather.

Every duration shown is an estimate. How long a detail actually takes depends on the vehicle's size, condition and how dirty it is — a heavily soiled interior can run longer than the listed time. If your vehicle will need extra time, we'll tell you before we start so you can decide.

If something comes up on our end (weather, a mechanical issue with the truck, an emergency), we'll contact you as early as we can and get you rescheduled to the next suitable opening.

Access to the vehicle and the site

We're fully self-sufficient: our truck carries its own water tank and generator, so we never need to plug into your electricity or connect to your hose. What we do need from you:

  • A safe, legal, level place to park and work — a driveway, a parking space, or a lot where detailing is allowed.
  • Clear access to the vehicle, with the doors, trunk and hood able to open.
  • Keys, or the code or method needed to get into the car.
  • Personal items, valuables and important documents removed from the cabin and trunk.

We aren't responsible for valuables or personal items left in the vehicle. Please empty the cup holders, glove box, center console and pockets before we arrive.

Pricing and payment

Prices on this site are typical ranges, not fixed quotes. The final price depends on vehicle size, condition, how dirty it is, and any add-ons you want. We confirm the exact price with you before the appointment, and we never charge more than what we agreed without telling you first.

Payment is due when the work is finished. We'll tell you the accepted payment methods when we confirm your booking.

Promo and discount codes

Promo codes shared by email or on our site work like this:

  • Enter the code in the booking form, or tell us when you book by phone.
  • Each code is good for one use per customer unless we say otherwise.
  • Codes expire on the date printed in the offer and won't be honored afterwards.
  • Codes have no cash value, can't be transferred or resold, and can't be combined with another offer unless we say so.
  • We can cancel or change a code if it's misused.

A code entered on a booking request is a request for the discount — it's applied when we confirm your price.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Life happens. If you need to cancel or move your appointment, call or text us as soon as you know so we can offer the time to someone else or find you a new slot.

If you don't show up and don't reach us, we may need to charge for the time we drove out and set up, or ask for a deposit before booking you again.

Your vehicle and what detailing can and can't do

Detailing is a cleaning and protection process. It is not bodywork, mechanical repair or paint repair. Please tell us in advance about:

  • Loose trim, cracked or missing panels, damaged seals, or anything about to fall off.
  • Previous body work, repainted panels, vinyl wraps, PPF or aftermarket parts.
  • Tinted windows, audio or alarm systems, and any electrical quirks.
  • Existing scratches, swirls, rock chips, dents, stains, smoke odor or pet damage.

A detail will not remove deep scratches, dents or paint damage — those need paint correction, which is a separate service. A ceramic coating protects and makes cleaning easier, but it is not permanent, is not a substitute for paint repair, and still needs proper washing and maintenance. We'll flag anything we notice during the service rather than keep quiet about it.

Liability

We take real care with every vehicle — these are someone's car and often someone's livelihood. If something in your vehicle is damaged while we're working on it, we'll tell you right away and work with you to make it right.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our responsibility for a claim connected to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service, and we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost time, lost income, or a missed appointment. Some states don't allow certain limits, so those limits may not apply to you.

Conduct on the job

We're happy to work around you, but we ask for a safe, respectful environment. We may end a service without a refund, and decline future work, where there's harassment, threats, unsafe conditions, or interference with the work.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business changes. The version posted here is the one in effect, and the "Last updated" date at the top marks the most recent change. Continuing to book with us after an update means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any dispute will be handled in the courts serving Nassau or Suffolk County. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands.
